The Spring Session of SoccerTots & Lil Sluggers will begin the week of March 5th-11th at all 10 of our indoor locations. Spring outdoor classes will begin the week of March 19th-25th in Falls Church and the Trinity Center in North East, DC. Many of our classes sell out, so be sure to register early to guarentee your space!

Blue Box Sports is pleased to announce the launch of the nationally acclaimed SoccerTots and Lil Sluggers programs for children age 18 months to 6 years old at its newest Location, Performance Edge Sports Training in Lansdowne, VA. Performance Edge is a new sports training facility that just opened in Landsdowne, Virginia that offers state of the art athletic training and exercise equipment. Performance Edge also has a 2400 square foot turf field where we will be offering both our SoccerTots and Lil Sluggers programs.
Performance Edge will begin offering SoccerTots and Lil Sluggers classes during its Winter Session. Professionally trained instructors will lead classes using a variety of props and games to engage children in participation activities. The instructor-to-child ratios are kept small and all classes utilize an age appropriate curriculum. Blue Box Sports also offers open enrollment to allow participants to join after the start of a session for a pro-rated amount.
SoccerTots classes will meet on Friday morning for 50 minutes. Lil Sluggers classes will be held on Tuesday mornings or Saturday afternoonss and are 45 minutes in length. The Winter Session begins January 2nd and runs through February 26th. Registration is now open for all our Winter locations.

The Nzone is Northern Virginia's premier indoor sports community center. It is located in Chantilly, Virginia and has multiple indoor turf fields for our SoccerTots and Lil' Sluggers programs. We will be running classes for the SoccerTots and Lil' Sluggers on both weekdays and weekends!

The Manassas Sports Center is a brand new sports training facility that will open in November, 2011. The Manassas Sports Center will boast three indoor fields and can accommodate all sports that can play on turf.

The Fairfax SportsPlex will begin offering SoccerTots and Lil Sluggers classes during its Fall 2 Session with a great offer of 7 weeks for the price of 6. DC SoccerTots and Lil Sluggers has completed the upgrade to its online registration system. You can now register for BOTH programs online! However, to receive our Grand Slam discount, you will still need to call us in the office. Keep an eye out for further enhancements to our website in the coming months!
Lil Sluggers Baseball joined the Blue Box Sports family in January of 2011. We are now running classes in several of our locations and want to give your child the opportunity to learn from our professionally trained coaches. Lil Sluggers is a child development program created to introduce kids ages 2-5 to the game of baseball. Lil Sluggers classes develop important baseball skills such as throwing, catching, hitting, and base running. Developmentally appropriate equipment and games are used to teach your child the game of baseball in a fun, exciting, and positive environment.
Sports activities are an integral part every child's physical and social development. Lil Sluggers is designed to make fitness fun while your child develops self-confidence, baseball skills and joy for the game.

SoccerTots is a child physical development program that utilizes a variety of fun games to delight and engage young children in physical activity. Classes are professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote fitness, and create self confidence.
Professionally trained instructors will lead classes using a variety of props and games to engage children in participation activities. The instructor/child ratios are kept small and all classes are co-ed. SoccerTots offers open enrollment to allow participants to join at any time within a 6, 8 or 10-week session.
In a non-competitive environment, SoccerTots stresses the development of simple motor skills such as: balance, kicking, running, jumping, dribbling, foot-eye coordination, running control as well as listening and following instructions.
SoccerTots classes are currently being held at 7 great locations in the DC area: The Box in Chantilly, Timber Lane Elementary School in Falls Church, Gold's Gym in Greenbelt, Haymarket SportsPlex in Haymarket, Flexx Sports and Entertainment in Lansdowne, The Trinity Center in Washington, DC, Prospects Sports in Tysons Corner and introducing our two newest locations, The Fairfax Sportsplex in Springfield and The Manassas Sports Center in Manassas.
